Far away from any human settlement, in the middle of nowhere, the Tower majestically points upward towards the sky. One could hardly find a handful of people that have seen it with their own eyes. Even though, the tales of the Tower's denizens live in the legends. Skeletons, ghosts, golems, snakes - just to name the few. Among them stands the Master of the Tower, a being which sole existence violates the laws of this world. Entropos, the Chaos Lord, along with his pet, Han the Chaosspawn. They are said to reside at the very top of the Tower, tinkering with the minds of passersby so that they inevitably walk towards the Tower to meet their doom...
... you don't remember what was it that made you venture into the Tower of Chaos. Was it a lost bet? A beer-rich night at the local tavern? An oath made by your ancestors that you must fulfill? A loud, metallic noise brings you back to reality as the massive Tower's door close behind your back. You turn around trying to feel the door's fabric beneath your fingers, though they meet nothing but cold stone. Whatever happened to the door, you're standing in front of an ordinary wall.. if anything can be ordinary in this place, that is. You pray to whichever god is listening at the moment as your ear catches the faint sound of bones moving against each other, disturbingly reminding you of a skeleton. You then realize the harsh truth: from here on, the only way to go is upwards. Whichever god heard your prayer, may he watch over your doomed soul...
Tower of Chaos is a turn based, Procedural Death Maze-like hack and slash. You take the role of an unfortunate wanderer that has found himself cast down to the lowest level of the Tower. To earn your freedom, you have to make your way through all the floors and finally confront the Lord of Chaos, Entropos, himself. During your journey, you will be able to master many distinct skills and wield magical items of great power. However, beware: the Tower is a hostile place and some say that Death himself often walks through the tower's rooms.
